Stamp Made for Clay
Herb Stamps
These fun herb stamps are 3/4” font size with letter depth of 4 millimeters for deep clear impressions. The extra depth of the letters allow for both shallow and deep impressions depending on your style and needs. These stamps were designed to make modern ceramic herb markers & labels for gardening but can be used however you want! The 3/4" size stamp is perfect for making larger 3/4"-1" wide herb markers. These herb stamps were designed to be used directly with our large garden marker clay cutter. Other projects include herb labels for starting seeds indoors or stamping herb names onto planters.
All of our stamps are printed to order to ensure superior quality prints. Each stamp has the herb name printed into the top of the handle for easy identification and quick stamp orientation. No need to flip stamps over and read everything backwards trying to decipher each name.
Sizes of the Stamps
Approximate lengths- Basil is 1 3/8”, Rosemary is 2 3/4”, Lemon Balm is 3 1/2”
Large 3/4" Font Size
Our stamps are 3D printed using premium PLA+ filament. Each stamp was hand drawn, then made into a 3D model using 3D modeling software. The model is then printed into a physical object using our own 3D printers. The 3D software separates the 3D design into .08-.2mm layers and prints the stamp layer by layer, fusing them together at 400°F.
When using our stamps you get a unique quality of a handmade stamp that was designed by a potter for potters, along with the benefits of using a material like PLA+. Our PLA+ stamps are made extremely durable for continual use, they are light weight and have sharp detail.
PLA+ isn’t to be confused with traditional PLA filament. PLA+ is 5-8x stronger than traditional PLA, and bonds much stronger between layers. This helps eliminate cracking, splitting, and breaking commonly found in PLA, along with added strength on finer detail, which dramatically increases stamping quality and the life of the stamp. These stamps are designed to last years of use and continual stamping.
Standard PLA is technically known as polylactic acid in the science world. It’s a thermoplastic polymer which is made from either sugar cane or corn starch. PLA is considered a good material to use because it is made from renewable resources. Our stamps are eco friendly and can be recycled.
Our stamps can be used on a wide variety of surface materials. Such as clay, polymer clay, fondant, and soaps. Using stamps can greatly enhance your work by adding interesting textures and the differing depths. This texture creates perfect channels and valleys to collect glaze.
Care Instructions - wipe with dampe sponge or wash directly in water. If needed use a soft bristle brush to clean debris out of stamp. Gently pat dray and allow to air dry for 30 minutes before attempting to use.
Warning - HEAT SENSITIVE. Do not leave in a hot car or hot pottery shed. Will melt under high temperatures. Not recommended to use with a heat gun.
Shipping is 1-2 weeks. All pottery tools are made to order to ensure we are providing premium quality tools. 3D Printing in small batches helps reduce waste, limits overstocking and frees up space in our small home studio.

Pottery Pucks

Each double sided pottery puck has a unique top and bottom shape. These different forms allow you to create varying sized nesting plates and bowls using one tool.
Our tools are designed to be functional and durable pottery forms that can be reused over and over. Other projects include varying sized plates, bowls, pet dishes, hanging planters, and sculptural forms.

(diameter x height)
1" x .5", 2" x 1", 3" x 1.5", 4" x 2", 6" x 3", 8" x 4", 10" x 5", 12” x 6”, 14” x 7”
Materials - 3D printed in PLA+ plastic. These forms have a light layer line 3D printed texture on the surface that leaves a slight texture on your clay that can easily be smoothed out with a sponge or rib. If your form is damaged with a scuffed or scratched from normal usage you can lightly wet sand the surface back to smooth starting with 60, 80, 120 grit sand paper working your way to finer 400-600 girt for a super smooth finish.
Clay Tips - For quick release of your clay from your mold use a barrier in-between your clay and pottery from. Such as doubled up plastic. thin cotton fabric, or corn starch. If using corn starch as a release agent make sure to wash your bisque ware before glazing. *Pro Clay Tip- I like to put painters tape tabs on my pucks creating little pull tables so I can easily remove them from my clay.
Directions - I have been using and perfecting my pottery forms for years. This is my method I have found to be successful. I like to slab roll out my clay, smooth and cut out to the size I want, then I drape thin plastic on my pottery form. Next I drape my clay onto my pottery form with the plastic on it. Starting from the center I then working the clay into the form using a red rib or damp sponge. Allow clay to stiffen up to desired dryness before flipping then remove drape form from clay. The peel off plastic, smooth with sponge or red rib if desired then dry slowly under plastic. Do not let your clay dry completely on the form even over night, it will shrink and crack your piece.
Care Instructions- clean with wet sponge or wash directly in the sink. Dry before using.
Warning - HEAT SENSITIVE. **Do not leave in a hot car or hot pottery shed. Will melt under high temperatures. Not recommended to use with a heat gun.
