Green moon dish made of pea green porcelain clay and glazed in a matte lime green. The texture on the outside of this dish has been hand sculpted with craters to look like the surface of a moon. Before glazing the dish is stained black then wiped clean to show the texture through the glaze. Perfect size for snacks.
This moon dish is apart of a new series of celestial objects I am exploring. Meticulously sculpting craters and landscape textures on the surface of the clay.
