Duck Egg Tray Drape Form

This is a 3D printed pottery drape form for making a ceramic duck egg tray. The egg form has been enlarged to accommodate average 12% clay shrinkage. After your egg tray has been fired it will fit a standard duck egg. Check out our other egg drape mold for making quail egg and chicken egg sizes.

This egg drape form has a smooth matte surface and is made from strong pla+ plastic. It is durable, easy to clean and light weight. 

Do not let your clay dry completely on the form, it will shrink and crack your tray. 

Care Instructions- clean with wet sponge or wash directly in the sink. Dry before using. 

For immediate release of your clay from then mold use a barrier. Such as thin cotton fabric, plastic or corn starch. If using corn starch as a release agent be sure to wash your bisqueware before glazing.

Directions- roll out slab of clay, smooth slab, cut clay to desired shape then drape clay over form. For immediate removal of clay from the form use a barrier in-between such as a thin cloth or plastic.
